Rosslare Europort has set out an ambitious and fully aligned programme to position the port, its hinterland and the wider South East region as Ireland’s principal Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Hub – a development with the capacity to generate up to 2,000 new jobs.
Following three record-breaking years in 2022, 2023 and 2024, during which Rosslare Europort became Ireland’s number one gateway for direct RoRo and RoPax services to mainland Europe, we are now advancing the next phase of our strategic growth. Our vision is clear: to establish Rosslare Europort as the national centre of excellence for offshore renewable energy, supporting Ireland’s transition to a sustainable, secure and competitive energy future.
A comprehensive programme of investment is already under way, including:
- Completion of the Port Masterplan and full digitisation of operations
- Delivery of a permanent Border Control Post by the Office of Public Works
- The N25 Rosslare Europort Access road, enhancing regional and national connectivity
- The full development of the ORE Hub and associated infrastructure
In total, €350 million is being invested to realise this vision, strengthening Rosslare Europort's position as a critical national asset and a catalyst for economic growth in the South East and beyond.
