Commencement of Maintenance dredging at Rosslare Harbour on 11th January 2024

As part of our Public Awareness Programme, we wish to advise of the commencement of maintenance dredging at Rosslare Harbour on 11th January 2024. The areas around the end of the breakwater and berth 4 as shown in the diagram below are the immediate area that are being dredged under the current campaign. The proposed works consist of the dredging of sands and gravels to the required Approach Channel and Inner Harbour design depths. The existing bed levels vary between approximately +0.5m CD and 9.5m BCD and the maintenance dredging of the channel & inner harbour will return the bed levels to -7.2m CD in the work area.

Updates will be provided on this website as the works progress.
