Important Update for Freight Operators

All individuals entering the port (ISPS Areas) on foot or driving articulated vehicles—including those operating within port aprons, import and export yards, or any area inside the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) boundary—are now required to wear Class 3 hi-visibility clothing at all times.

Class 3 Hi-visibility Clothing

This notice is to advise that all individuals entering the port (ISPS Areas) on foot or driving articulated vehicles—including those operating within port aprons, import and export yards, or any area inside the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) boundary—are now required to wear Class 3 hi-visibility clothing at all times.

This requirement is being implemented following a request from the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) and is intended to enhance safety in all operational areas.

Please note that car passengers who remain inside their vehicle are not required to wear Class 3 hi-visibility clothing. However, if they exit their vehicle anywhere within the ISPS boundary, they must comply with this requirement immediately. Foot Passengers who transit to the Vessels via the port bus are also not required to have Class 3 Hi Vis.

Effective immediately, any person on foot or any articulated vehicle driver not wearing suitable Class 3 hi-visibility clothing may be refused entry or instructed to leave the operational area until proper Class 3 PPE is worn.

We appreciate your cooperation and continued commitment to maintaining a safe port environment.
